Are you considering a new engine installation service? You may be surprised to learn just how beneficial this service can be for your vessel.
Firstly, installing a new engine can increase the longevity of your vessel and reduce the need for costly repairs down the line. A newer engine is going to perform more efficiently and require less maintenance than an older one, meaning that you’ll save money in the long run. Plus, it will help keep your boat running at peak performance for longer periods of time.
Another benefit to having a new engine installed is that it can improve fuel efficiency. New engines are designed to use less gas than their older counterparts, which means that you’ll get more miles per gallon and save money on gas in the process. Additionally, if you’re looking for improved performance from your vessel, a new engine installation service can offer that as well – superior acceleration and handling are just two of the improvements you could see after getting a new engine installed.
Finally, if regular maintenance has become too much of an inconvenience or expense for you then installing a new engine could be the solution – not only will it make upkeep easier but it will also help extend its life even further. All in all, booking this type of service is definitely something worth considering!

Tom is what you consider “the best of the best” when it comes to boat repairs.
I wanted to share my experience with Tom Turner in a recently completed engine repair on my fifteen year old SeaRay Sundeck. I knew Tom when he was the Service Manager for Clark’s Landing where we bought the boat in 2009. He provided accurate assessments of engine problems we encountered in 2014 and suggested accurate recommendations for his technicians to follow to address the issues - he is was absolutely correct. When I encountered multiple issues with the boat at the end of last season, I was looking for someone with experience, someone I trusted, and someone who could work on a transom drive on my older boat (had a shop or access to a shop at a boat yard), and hopefully close by to allow me to navigate by water from my home. It had been several years since I had talked to Tom. I called Clark’s Landing on the Western Shore and was asked for a list to technicians they would recommend for work on the Eastern Shore. While they provided more than one name, Tom’s name was given. After briefly talking to Tom about the issues I was having he told me if I could get it to his shop at Kent Narrows he would fit the repair in within two weeks. He also make sure that I would only have to bring in the boat just as his schedule would allow for the repair. Tom provided an estimate which seemed fair to me. I got the boat to him last week and the job was completed in just a few days. Before I left we spend time on the water making sure everything was working to both his and my expectations. I had an issue with the bilge pump (it was not on Tom’s list to repair). Tom offered to come out and take a look. Within an hour he was my boat and diagnosed the problem as a loose fuse. He fixed it and was on his way. The boat runs better than it ever has. In summary, I would strongly recommend Tom to anyone who is looking for a person who excels in engine repair, knows his trade, is honest, and truly cares about customer service.
Tom was patient with this newbie after buying a oldie boat. Walked me thru the best solution for on the hook power. He has a lot of connections and was able to get a quote for a lithium system from an expert in that technology. He was able to offer up a better system instead that will last the life of the boat.
